Natty means Natural, or no clear coat on the wooden tama. So when something is listed as Natty, it is an unfinished surface (or may have stain but no clear) Natty tamas can be a bit more slippery, but in general break in well and really absorb hand oils over time. Some players love Natty, and some don't. It is very much a personal play preference

Cushion or Cush refers to our Cushion Clear, which is a clear coat we developed here in the Sweets Lab. It is our version of a 'rubber' or 'silk' coat. This is something we paint in-house, and it offers a lot of grip. Cushion makes a tama play like it is broken in right out of the box, and is great for balance and stall tricks.

Pro Clear is one of our most solid paints. It has a high gloss and is incredibly durrible, but starts out slick. Over time and with enough play Pro Clear becomes perfectly sticky, but it really takes some time to get to that point. If you are looking for something slick, but not as slick as a fresh Natty, Pro Clear is your best bet.

ATack was our stickiest paint before we invented Cushion Clear. It is a matte paint that plays best in hot/humid weather. This is a classic Sweets Lab paint.

Prime Sticky Clear is a factory paint, that we do not make here in The Sweets Lab. It is glossy and very sticky right out of the box. The Sticky clear breaks in over time to loose a bit of its grip, which allows the perfect amount of adjustment needed for balance tricks.
